Choose a cabochon (a stone of a convex shape without edges, the upper part is circular or oval, the lower part is flat).

Finding a stone exactly the size is almost impossible. Your stone should be approximately the same size and shape as shown in Figure A.

Draw a straight line on the tracing paper. Combine the middle of the stone with a straight line. Outline it with a pencil and give an allowance of 2-3 mm.

You can use the suggested sketch, reducing or enlarging it if necessary. To do this, overlay the tracing paper with the circled stone and the allowance on the sketch and see where it needs to be changed. If the sketch suits you, move it to the same tracing paper with a pencil and set it aside.

Make a working stencil. Transfer only the external contour to the tracing paper from the sketch (fig. B), then transfer it to thick paper through carbon paper.

Prepare a piece of leather (choprak, yuft} and soak it in hot water for an hour.

After removing from the water, hold a piece of skin between the layers of paper and let it dry for a while. Make sure that the skin is not too wet or dry during the work.

Put a working stencil on the skin and carefully circle it with an awl. Remove the stencil and correct the contour with an awl.

Make a rough cut with a knife along the outlined contour.

Make sherfoniye, that is, remove the inside of the sing. The thickness of the product must be equal everywhere.

Trim all irregularities along the edges of the workpiece from the front side with scissors. Apply a stencil for control. Lightly draw images of the center of the product.

Place a tracing paper with a sketch of the product picture on the cut out workpiece. With an awl with a little push push the figure. Remove the tracing paper and correct the pattern with an awl.

You cut a small area inside the workpiece and punch the marked holes with punch holes (highlighted in red in the sketch).

Make cuts on the skin (in the sketch all cuts are indicated in black), with a stiletto or an engraving knife - a double cut (Figure B).

After engraving, polish the cuts with a stack.

The next step is coloring.

Then apply the pattern with stamps.

Lightly blotting movements with a piece of foam rubber, apply PVA glue on the wrong side and end sections (skin from the underside should be slightly moist). Let the glue dry, then polish the surface with a round metal object (awl, thick needle).

Put the leather blank in a plastic bag so that it does not dry out. Glue the stone (glue "Moment") on a piece of leather of average thickness (1.5-2 mm). It is better if it is split (skin grade with equally treated sides). Trim the skin flush with a knife.

Make a trim for the stone. For this, take a thin glove or skin. Borders can be from one to five (Fig. D). If the border is one, it should be the same color as the blank itself. If there are several of them, the edging adjacent to the stone should be the same, and the last one should be the tone of the leather billet. Middle edging is best done with the transition of tones between the two extremes. Prepare strips 1-1.5 cm wide, slightly longer than the circumference of the stone. Very thinly remove the underside.Lubricate the strip with "Moment" glue, fold it in half and tap it with a hammer.

Grease the "Moment" with the glue of the edge of the stone and the end of the glued skin using a thin knitting needle. Put aside. Apply glue to the first (or only) edging and gently attach its curved edge to the stone (fig. D). Gradually moving around the circle, glue it. It is advisable to begin to glue the fringe to the stone in the place that will be on the bottom when wearing the product. The edges of the edging should go back to back to back to back. The junction of the next edging must be shifted by 0.5 mm. When the rims are dry, cut off the excess edges from the wrong side of the product with scissors with rounded ends.

Remove the workpiece from the bag, attach the edged stone and outline it with an awl. Apply Moment glue to the flat side of the stone, let it dry. Scratch with a knife a place prepared for a stone, create a roughness and immediately grease with glue. Place the stone in place, press it with your hands and hold it for a while.

Give the product a small amount. Secure it on the board with pins and paper clips and leave to dry (fig. E).

Cut the strap, thread the ends into the holes and tie with knots.

A beautiful strap is obtained if you cut a 1.5 cm wide strip, it is good to strip it, glue it in half and tap it with a hammer. On the bend side, cut the strap 2 mm wide.
