Crafts made from clay on May 9

Crafting for Victory Day can be made from a variety of materials, including, of course, from clay. The craftsmanship made of plasticine on May 9 can take the form of a bulk souvenir, toy or original panel.

For its manufacture, in addition to the plasticine itself, only a thick cardboard sheet and standard tools are needed: a plank for modeling and stacking. If the clay is soft and marvelous, paper or wet wipes will also be useful: if you clean the pens in time, the hackney will turn out more neat.

Getting started!

The central element of our panel will be a medal. The medal from plasticine is easy to make, breaking the process of its manufacturing into several stages.

At the first stage, we make a lump of yellow plasticine mass into a smooth ball.

Then we give this ball the shape of a convex pentagon, squeezing it from different sides.Adults will better cope with this task, it may be too difficult for children.

pp14

We divide the faces of the pentagon with lines that we draw with the help of a stack, connecting the top of each face with the central vertex.

pp13

In each from the faces, alternately, we cut out the middle (central) part in the form of a wedge.

pp12

At the same time, our figure gradually acquires form of a three-dimensional star.

pn11

We attach a small plasticine ball to its upper beam - as a loop for hanging.

 pp10

You need to stick a red plasticine rectangle to this loop. It turns out a breast military medal.

pn9

From the remaining red plasticine we roll a long thin stick.

 пп8

Cut off the pieces from it and, giving them the shape of the desired characters, lay out the inscription" May 9th ". We fix the medal and the inscription on a silver cardboard sheet.

pp7

We roll two thin green sticks.

Give them arcuate shape.

pp6

We decorate our composition with these green arcs. At the top of each arc we fix a small ball.

pp3

Pinching small pieces from the remaining green plasticine, we make leaves from them and fasten them to arcs.

 pp2

When the leaves are fixed on both sides, the arcs will become similar to laurel branches.
